How to become a member of the YEA

To stand to become a member of the Young Essex Assembly, look out for posters in your schools from September this year to find out how.

In the meantime, occasionally, opportunities arise for young people to apply to become co-opted onto the YEA, for example if another member leaves. This means that you can apply to become a member of the YEA now.

For this to happen, instead of being voted for and elected on in the normal manner, the current YEA will consider your application and if successful invite you to join.
